Pre-School & Childminder First Aid

This course is for those who look after pre-school age children. Current regulations specify that anyone looking after pre-school age children must have undergone a minimum of 12 hours first aid training

Covers: a full range of medical emergencies, including resuscitation. Upon completion of the course, attendees are issued with a certificate, which is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Infant and Child Resuscitation

A course aimed at Mother and Toddlers Groups and those who are new parents.

Covers: Choking, resuscitation and other child related medical emergencies. The aim of the course is to equip attendees with the necessary skills to cope with medical emergencies in small children.

First Aid at Work

This course is for those who are a First Aid representative in their workplace. For those who already hold their First Aid certificate (which is renewable every 3 years), there is also a ‘refresher’ version of this course. Groups will contain a maximum of twelve students.

Covers: Any medical condition or injury in the workplace. Courses are tailored to each industry. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course and an examination and is valid for 3 years. This is a Health and Safety Executive recognised course of 4 days duration. 24 hours of tutoring are given in total (the Refresher course consists of 12 hours tutoring over 2 days).
